The Aston Martin Valkyrie, revealed in 2016, is one of the most extreme hypercars ever created—a collaboration between Aston Martin and Red Bull Racing’s Adrian Newey. It was designed to be as close as possible to a Formula 1 car for the road.
At its heart lies a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12, developed by Cosworth, revving to 11,100 rpm and producing 1,000 hp on its own. Paired with an electric motor from Rimac, total output reaches around 1,160 hp. With a lightweight carbon-fiber structure and radical aerodynamics, the Valkyrie generates massive downforce, allowing it to corner and brake like a prototype race car.
Only 150 road cars and 25 track-only AMR Pro versions will ever be built, making it one of the rarest and most advanced hypercars in the world. The Valkyrie isn’t just a car—it’s Aston Martin’s moonshot, a living example of race engineering unleashed on the street.
